The Eco Max Scrub Brush combines two natural plant fibres, Tampico and Rice Root, and is ideal for all those harder to clean areas around the home. With a rounded, comfortable-to-hold Rubberwood handle, it is an excellent, eco-friendly replacement for plastic and synthetic scrubbing brushes as it eliminates the problem of micro-plastics entering our waterways and damaging the environment. Better still, at the end of its life, it can be thrown into the compost where it will biodegrade.
Tampico comes from a species of cactus that grows naturally in only one region of Mexico. Tampico fibres are very resistant, hard-wearing and maintain their shape and texture, which means they don't soften or flatten with use. They also have superior water-retaining properties.
Rice root is the root of a native grass (no, not rice) that grows in the Mexican highlands. It is naturally springy and extremely tough, which means the Eco Max Scrub Brush has the extra strength needed for hard scouring.
The brush measures 16 (l) x 6 (w) x 7.5cm (h).
Australian owned. Handmade in Sri Lanka by a small family-run company that employs mainly underprivileged local women. Certified Vegan, Certified Fair Trade, FSC.
