I keep it simple with quick, easy to use products. I’ve got to get myself work-ready and children out the door. We all know what that’s like - easier said than done! Luckily I've found these efficient products that are not only multi-tasking but gorgeous to use too.
100% Pure Organic Matcha Anti-Ageing Cleansing Foam
I am totally in love with the 100% Pure Organic Matcha Anti-Ageing Cleansing Foam! I use it with the Life Basics Konjac Sponge - Bamboo Charcoal for a deeper cleanse that refreshes my skin and helps me wake up a bit. The combination of green tea, with its anti-inflammatory, anti-ageing and antioxidant powers plus skin plumping hyaluronic acid make this a winner for me. This is a rich yet very gentle foam which can be used with the Konjac sponge for a bit of exfoliation as well. A multi-tasking win! [Edit: sadly 100% Pure have discontinued this cleaner, so I am now using their Blood Orange cleansing balm which is a beautiful alternative which I absolutely love]! The Beauty Chef Probiotic Skin Refiner
I can’t tell you how much I love The Beauty Chef Probiotic Skin Refiner. This is an absolute must-have in my routine! It's a gentle exfoliating liquid that removes dead skin cells effortlessly thanks to natural AHAs. I apply it using a cotton pad, smoothing it all over my face. This skin refining and purifying formula helps to lighten skin spots and pigmentation so my skin is brightened and left refreshed for the day. Best of all, it's also moisturising and can be left on the skin (no need to wash it off), so it's my toner too!
100% Pure Organic Matcha Anti-Ageing Moisturiser
At the moment, my skin is feeling dry and needs a pick me up and I’ve found that the 100% Pure Organic Matcha Anti-Ageing Moisturiser brightens my face. It’s richly moisturising, sinks in, smells refreshing, and is a great base for makeup. [Edit: Since 100% Pure discontinued this range, I am now using their 100% Pure Restorative Sea Culture Extra Riche Créme which is also richly moisturising and exactly what my dry skin needs. Then I sort out the dark circles and puffiness under my eyes with 100% Pure Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream. I was converted years ago and this has been a staple in my routine ever since! I love this as much as my morning cup of coffee.
Makeup
For everyday makeup, my objective is to look brighter and more awake, like I’ve had 8 hours sleep! I like a fresh look, focusing on my natural features rather than trying to cover them up. I keep it simple with easy makeup that's quick to do when I'm dashing to the warehouse!
Face
I am an avid fan of primer, it makes such a difference! The 100% Pure Luminous Facial Primer is an illuminating natural primer that blurs out my uneven skin tone so my skin looks flawless once my foundation is applied. I use it under my beloved Vapour Atmosphere Soft Focus Foundation which has a gorgeous velvety satin finish. It contains fine mineral pigments to even out skin tone and help brighten my complexion, and offers hydrating yet long lasting medium coverage. To finish off, I use the 100% Pure Bamboo Blur Setting Powder. It's always in my handbag for touch-ups throughout the day, and I always describe this as the closest thing to an Instagram filter! It gives enough ’blur’ to minimise fine lines, as well as mattify any shine I don’t want.
Eyes and Lips
I still can’t go past the 100% Pure Black Tea Ultra Lengthening Mascara. I’ve used it for years and it's still my first choice when it comes to eye makeup. Even if I don't have time for anything else, I'll always do my lashes. For my lips, I whip on the 100% Pure Lip Butter which is made with ultra nourishing oils like avocado, shea and rosehip, and pigmented with strawberries and plums. This just gives my lips a light tint of colour. I have a little pot in my car, handbag and always have to try to stop my daughter stealing mine!
Evening Skin Care
100% Pure Blood Orange Cleansing Balm
Since I started stocking the new 100% Pure Blood Orange Cleansing Balm, I’ve become addicted! It smells so refreshing and the combination of avocado, coconut, olive oils and beeswax melt off makeup and dirt, and nourish my skin at the same time. It's one of the best makeup removers I've ever used! This silky balm melts into a smooth texture on contact with your skin and it's also so nourishing! I smooth it all over my face in a circular motion and then wash off with a face cloth. I also now use this as my daily cleanser too!
100% Pure Ultra Riche PM Treatment
I follow up with the 100% Pure Ultra Riche PM Treatment, a super potent, beautiful night cream that gives my skin a helping hand overnight, which is the best time for it to renew itself. This formula contains heaps of beneficial vitamins and antioxidants, and helps to undo sun and environmental damage and tackle signs of ageing, all while I'm asleep! I've noticed after using it that my skin looks nice and smooth when I wake up, so it helps to take out a few extra steps in the morning too!
100% Pure Retinol Restorative Neck Cream
As we live in one of the harshest climates places in the world, I'm really conscious of my neck being exposed to the elements and causing premature ageing, so I use the 100% Pure Retinol Restorative Neck Cream every evening to ensure my skin stays youthful. This cream contains anti-ageing ingredients such as Red Quinoa, Retinol, Olive Squalene and Hyaluronic Acid to target hydration and elasticity.
Mukti Age Defiance Eye Serum
After this, it’s onto the Mukti Age Defiance Eye Serum to combat fine lines while I sleep. It's as close to an organic cosmeceutical product as I have found so far! This is one thing I’m happy to splurge on because I’m so impressed with the results. This smoothing formula contains potent Australian Native Extracts to target puffiness, dark circles and wrinkles around the eye area. The last step in my routine, I sparingly pat this around my eyes before bed to help reduce puffiness when I wake up.
