By now you all know that I love natural skincare and beauty products. However, I also carry this natural living philosophy into all other areas of my life. This includes kitchen appliances and
cleaning products. There are so many great natural cleaning sprays and washes out there, that it seems crazy to choose any that are filled with harmful chemicals or fragrances! So I decided to write this blog post to share with you all my current favourite kitchen essentials and cleaning products that I feel safe using in my home and around my children.

Vitamix Total Nutrition Center 5200
If there’s one appliance every health and fitness lover has it’s a great juicer or blender! This one by Vitamix is a staple in my family kitchen because the truth is, it’s far more than just a blender! It is such a versatile appliance that helps my family and I eat a lot healthier. It’s amazing at breaking down whole foods, so you can absorb the nutrients as effectively as possible. If you have fussy kids who won’t eat anything with visible vegetables or greens, then you will love this Vitamix. It blends everything down so you can sneak some extra healthy goodness into their meals! It comes in four different colours (brushed stainless finish, black, red and white) to suit everyone’s kitchen décor and will last for years to come!

Southern Cross Pottery Large Water Purifier
Another of my kitchen countertop essentials is the Southern Cross Pottery Large Water Purifier! This ceramic water filter stores up to 12 Litres of water at a time, making it perfect for families who go through a lot of drinking water every day! This purifier filters out toxins and contaminants as well as fluoride, leaving only beneficial minerals such as Magnesium, Calcium and Potassium. It is also available in a range of different shades to match your kitchen!

Full Circle Tater Mate Potato Brush
If you are a lover of organic potatoes like I am, then I know you will get a lot of use out of this organic potato brush by Full Circle. This tool is ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand while you scrub the dirt off your vegetables. It also has an eye-remover on the side! This brush is good for the environment too because it has been made with recycled plastic and bamboo. It has also been coated in natural oil to prevent water damage and dries quickly when stood on it’s bristles.

Full Circle The Ring Vegetable Brush
It’s important when cooking vegetables that you first give them a thorough clean. This vegetable brush by Full Circle is organic and made with an ergonomic bamboo handle that makes it very easy to hold. It’s been made out of a blend of recycled plastic and natural bristles which makes it environmentally friendly. This handy brush is protected from water damage and is easily hung, stacked or stood up in your kitchen. It can even double up as a nail brush!

Bondi Wash Bench Spray
I am a big believer in only using cleaning products that are natural and safe to spray on kitchen surfaces and around children. These bench sprays by Bondi Wash are all of those things and smells great too! There are two scents that we stock here on Nourished Life. The first is Tasmanian pepper and lavender which works really well to cut through dirt and grime on a multitude of surfaces. The second is Sydney rosemary and peppermint which will leave your kitchen sparkling! Both are made using Australian bush oils and essential oils that have been found to kill up to 99.9% of bacteria. The formula is also plant based, biodegradable and non-toxic. I love these because they not only work hard, but they leave your house smelling amazing too!

Bondi Wash Floor Cleaner
When I think of floor cleaners I immediately think of highly fragranced, harsh-chemical filled products that aren’t great to breathe in. That’s why it’s so refreshing to use these Bondi Wash floor cleaners that work well and smell really good. They come in the same two scents as the bench cleaners, Sydney rosemary and peppermint and Tasmanian pepper and lavender. These floor cleaners are made with essential oils that are gentle but work effectively at killing germs and cleaning floors. They are also made with non-toxic scents that won’t leave you with headaches from any nasty toxins! All you need to do it pour a capful of liquid into a bucket of warm water and mop your floors. For smaller areas you can pour a small amount onto a sponge and scrub. Simple and effective!

Cinderella Dishwashing Liquid
Cinderella have created an effective range of cleaning products which are toxin free and low irritant so even the littlest members of your family can get involved with the housework! I love their eco-friendly Dish Washing Liquid which works hard to remove stubborn dirt from dishes but is still gentle on your skin so suitable for those with sensitive skin.

Abode Fragrance Free Dish Liquid
One of the cleanest cleaning products on the market, Abode the range is free from harsh chemicals, phosphates, artificial fragrances and other toxins! For those of you with extra sensitive skin, you will love Abode's Fragrance Free Dish Liquid. Painstakingly formulated using plant based ingredients, making it toxic free, the liquid is still ultra powerful, leaving even the dirtiest of dishes sparkling clean!

Dr Bronner's Castile Liquid Soap
Dr Bronner's magic soaps are formulated to be gentle on the skin while giving an unbelievable clean! The Dr Bronner's 18 in one formula makes it useful all throughout your house! I'm currently loving the Cherry Blossom Liquid Soap which is made from beautifully-blended natural essential oils that creates a lovely floral scent, deeply moisturises, and most importantly, nourishes your skin with powerful antioxidants while keeping your skin, dishes, benches and floors clean!
