All mums are busy, so I wanted to create a series of guides to help us all get things done faster and easier! Lets kick this off getting the kids ready and out the door in the morning! I find that routine and preparation helps to manage the mornings a lot easier. Some great organic products that encourage kids to get ready, doesn’t hurt either!

Preparing the night before!

Having a calming nighttime routine is important in helping your kids achieve a restful night's sleep! To make bathtime a breeze I recommend using multiuse products. The Little Innoscents Organic Hair & Body Wash $13.95, is perfect for the whole family, from newborns to big kids! It’s gentle, soothing and can be used to replenish and hydrate skin and hair. It’s made with natural ingredients including delicate botanicals and essential oils of Spearmint and Sweet Orange. This two in one product is great even for kids with ultra sensitive skin!

Once your kids have hopped out of the bath, I recommend applying the Weleda White Mallow Body Lotion $27.95, which is particularly beneficial for any littlies that have itchy skin! It’s very soothing and helps to protect sensitive and eczema prone skin. It’s formulated with 95% organic ingredients including White Mallow and Pansy which may help to alleviate itching and promote healthy soft skin.

The last step for a restful night’s sleep is to apply the Badger Night Night Balm $21.95, to help your kids to relax. This balm has a beautiful, soothing scent formulated with essential oils including Chamomile, Lavender and Sandalwood. It’s designed to help your little ones stick to a regular sleeping pattern! To apply, rub a small amount onto pulse points such as temples and wrists.

Brushing teeth in the morning!

Sometimes it can be difficult to get kids to brush their teeth! To make this morning ritual more exciting, the Jack N’ Jill Buzzy Brush Electric Musical Toothbrush $24.95 comes in handy! It’s an electric musical toothbrush that rotates gently to clean your kids teeth without irritating their delicate gums. There are three sound modes that can be activated to help kids recognise how long to brush their teeth for! It also comes with bubble stickers so they can customize their toothbrush!

The perfect pairing? The Lavera Kids Tooth Gel $10.45! It has a delicious Raspberry/ Strawberry flavour that your little ones will love! It’s not as strong as regular mint and works to prevent the buildup of plaque. It also helps to counteract acid which damages teeth and ensures a proper clean.

Hair Styling and Care

If you have little boys who like spiking up or styling their hair, the Little Innoscents Organic Hair Fudge $10.95, is the perfect choice! This hair fudge has a fresh Rosewood and Orange scent and has been formulated specifically for kid’s delicate skin. It is long-lasting with a strong hold and washes out easily in the bath.

Every other morning I spray a little of this daily preventative spray. The Eco Kid Daily Tonic Leave-In Conditioner $24.95 because it’s eco-friendly and of course, toxin free! This preventative spray helps tame fly away hair and makes combing so easy! And has a minty fresh scent that lice absolutely hate!

Preparing breakfast!

If you’re looking for a way to sneak more superfoods into your kids’ diets, I recommend trying the NuZest Kids Good Stuff! The NuZest Kids Good Stuff - Choc Honeycomb $44.95, is convenient, so delicious and packed full of superfoods, nutrients, prebiotics and probiotics! It’s made including the health benefits of Pea Protein, Spirulina and Wheatgrass. The best part? Your kids won’t even realise that they’re healthy! It’s a great breakfast option that you can turn into a smoothie by adding frozen bananas or berries!

Packing your kids lunch!

To save any spillage disasters in your kids’ school bags, using a great lunchbox is key! I love the Lunchbots range as they’re made from food grade stainless steel containers that are an eco-friendly alternative to mainstream plastic lunch boxes. Their containers are easy to clean and virtually unbreakable! Lunchbots also have a range of insulated containers that are totally leak proof and help keep food warmed and chilled for up to 5 hours! They’re a lifesaver in the winter months for packing nourishing soups!
