GM / Head of Online

Location: Melbourne

We have a great opportunity for a commercial eCommerce and digital guru to join our growing team. The Head of Online role is a vital role that will be responsible for the transformation and leadership of the Nourished Life business. This role will be focused on growing the Nourished Life business to be a digital leader with the best brands, all whilst being purpose-driven. This is a fantastic and very interesting role for an experienced Head of Online that also wants to run more elements of a business including buying, marketing and merchandising. If you are a game-changing commercial eCommerce leader this role could be for you. We expect this person to be values-led, inclusive, and wanting to be part of a bigger business driving change. You will be reporting to the Managing Director of eCommerce.

What does your day-to-day look like?

  • Drive and deliver on the purpose, culture and values of Nourished Life, Ecomm and BWX
  • Lead digital marketing so it is customer centric and high performing
  • Oversee social and digital engagement including promotional planning and execution
  • Lead brand marketing and live the purpose and values of Nourished Life externally and internally
  • Manage the tone of voice in all areas of the business from social media through to emails and internally
  • Work with your eCommerce team to deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Develop targets and plans to achieve conversion rate enhancement
  • Manage the buying team to deliver on newness, promotions and margin management
  • Develop and execute range and category plans
  • Negotiate with suppliers to ensure optimal business outcomes
  • Manage the merchandising team to ensure stock and availability targets are met
  • Ensure the customer experience from awareness through to packing and delivery of order is exceptional
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic plans to transform business and drive growth
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting and P&L
  • Continually evaluate agency performance to ensure optimal ROI
  • Ensure a deep understanding of Brands, Customer Demographics and Shopper behaviours to drive conversion
  • Maintain an update knowledge of industry trends and practices
  • Work closely and collaboratively with eCommerce, finance, warehousing, supply chain and manufacturing and shared services.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Passionate about natural and eco
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience leading an eCommerce business on its own or as part of a bigger retail business
  • Experience building and developing a cross-functional eCommerce team/business
  • Extensive knowledge of e-commerce technology and sophisticated analytics with a history of continuous learning
  • Experience running a fully integrated P&L and a deep understanding of the levers driving EBITDA
  • Experience in driving transformation efforts with proven results in delivering strong sales and profit growth
  • Proven experience across eCommerce and website management, with experience developing optimisation roadmaps and strategy and a track record of effectively driving business growth and return on investment
  • Experience in Supplier negotiations and annual Strategic plan building
  • Marketing expertise in UX, EDM optimisation and automation, conversion rate enhancement, social and digital engagement including promotional planning and execution
  • Understanding of contemporary and best practice website functionality
  • Experience working with or managing operations and logistics with a strong understanding of what drives the operational elements of an eCommerce business

Email & Digital Marketing Specialist

Location: Melbourne

The Email & Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing our emails and aspects of digital marketing at Nourished Life. This person will be responsible for optimising, creating, loading and sending our EDMs, segmentation, maintaining the database, and reporting. The role will also work on automation and retargeting email campaigns.

What does your day-to-day look like?

  • Email Marketing build and implementation: Perform day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to email campaign set up, audience segmentation, automation strategies, scheduling and testing.
  • Management of automation: develop, monitor and analyse automation
  • Campaign reporting: monitor and provide weekly results on email campaigns and lifecycle program performance, maximising revenue opportunities
  • Effective communication/relationships: work closely with other key team members to ensure consistent messaging, leveraging insights across other platforms where appropriate
  • CRM management: segment and analyse database as needed
  • Subject matter expert: stay abreast of all email marketing trends and be the subject matter expert for the rest of the team
  • Digital Marketing: Work with the Marketing Manager and agencies to manage search, affiliates and other digital marketing as time allows

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Tertiary Qualified in Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years email/ digital marketing experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships cross-functionally
  • Experience using Microsoft Office & Adobe preferable

Merchandiser

Location: Melbourne

The Merchandiser role is vital to the inventory management of 8000+ products. This role is responsible for the replenishment, promotional stock ordering and ongoing stock management with overstocks and discontinued products. This role will undertake margin reviews regularly, ensuring the delivery of margin KPIs and the overall profitability of the business.

What does your day-to-day look like?

  • Order Management: Raising and sending of POs and orders based on replenishment requirements and promotional forecasts
  • Logistics: Managing in-bound order deliveries, prioritising receipting, managing shipping partners including booking pickups, customs and duties charges
  • Margin Management: Ensuring margin KPIs are met and maintained with regular ongoing analysis of sales data, liaising with finance to ensure correct COGs are recorded
  • Inventory Management: Maintaining adequate stock levels to support promotional plans and sales history, analysing sales data to identify products to be removed or stock levels needing to be reduced
  • Promotional Viability: Working with the buyer and promotions team to ensure proposed promotions are profitably viable
  • Supplier Engagement: Work alongside the buyer to maintain positive, healthy relationships with brands and suppliers
  • Invoice Management: Work with the Merchandise Assistants to reconcile PO's and invoices.
  • Team Management: Manage and lead a valued led inclusive team focused on the commercial success of the business

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Minimum 2+ years experience in merchandise/ inventory management role
  • Tertiary Qualified in Business or related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships cross-functionally and externally
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, specifically excel
  • Strong financial acumen

Marketing & Content Coordinator

Location: Melbourne

The Marketing & Content Coordinator is responsible for content planning and development across Nourished Life to support all marketing and communications initiatives, with a strong focus on lead generation and sales while ensuring an integrated 360-degree communication. The role requires a blend of brand story-telling, copywriting, communications and marketing strategy to drive the overarching content strategy and its execution.

In this role, you will deliver content of exceptional quality for online editorial and related digital channels and will be proficient in writing short- and long-form content in a digital context. You will possess an awareness of SEO strategies, customer journeys, the role of content in eCommerce, and marketing processes, and will have an innate understanding of the digital content landscape.

What does your day-to-day look like?

  • Copy writing: Plan and develop digital first copy which aligns with the brand aesthetic and is optimised for digital performance. Create copy and content for all channels including blog, email, website, social media advertising, search and display.
  • Content Management: Working closely with the Marketing Manager, create an integrated 360-degree content and communications plan that is consistent with all other marketing activity.
  • Brand Identity: Deliver a consistent tone of voice, ensuring all content is in line with brand guidelines.
  • Planning & Reporting: Plan all content in-line with the marketing & social calendar in advance to ensure key stakeholder engagement can be obtained. Monitor and report on all measurable content performance to provide insights to key stakeholders.
  • Market Analysis & Opportunity: consistently monitor and report back on competitor activity, as well as inspirational brands with strong social engagement and presence. Ensure our channels are constantly evolving and leveraging new opportunities, technology and trends.
  • Support the marketing manager with delivery of digital and non-digital activities and across all channels, including brand partnerships, affiliates, ambassador program and NPD.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Tertiary Qualified in Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in marketing and content management
  • Experience producing content for Digital Advertising, Website Content and Email Marketing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships cross-functionally & with influencers, and agency partners
  • Demonstrated copywriting and editing skills, coupled with strong research skills
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced marketing environment with creative, production processes & deadlines
  • Experience using Digital and Social to tell a story about a product, category, brand, or trend
  • Experience writing copy for SEO and knowledge and experience using SEO tools such as SEMrush
