The Immerse lava crystal clay is an excellent addition to your weekly skincare routine. It is deeply cleansing whilst exfoliating at the same time. To be applied as a face mask, it can be also used on your back, chest and shoulders.
Immersa Lava Clay is a naturally occurring wet clay deriving from the volcanic soils of the Lava Plains in Northern Queensland. Over the course of a million years, the volcanic ash has formed a crystal clay containing wonderful, natural ingredients including:
- Montmorillonite - with its fabulous absorption qualities; taking in a lot more water than other clays, and Kaolin - A soft white natural clay.
- Micro crystals - which are naturally mildly abrasive and a great exfoliant, helping to remove old skin cells whilst energising and revitalising. The crystals are believed to have health benefits, in particular, Quartz, which is thought to have healing properties.
The Lava clay is creamy and smooth in texture. This has been aided by the process of mesh screening - by using mineralised water obtained from an underground basalt water source which helps to remove the larger particles, increasing the amount of Montmorillonite in the mix.
Immersa Lava clay is 99% natural, with the only added ingredient being 1% of a natural preservative. (Benzyl Alcohol and Dehydroacetic Acid). The 50ml jar comes with an applicator brush and a booklet.
