Unichi Saffronia is a natural supplement designed to help maintain and improve your general wellbeing. It may assist in the management of mood swings and help relieve nervous tension, stress and mild anxiety.
It contains Saffronia Extract, derived from the delicate flower of Crocus Sativus, commonly known as Saffron. Each flower has three vivid crimson stigmas which are harvested by hand and gently dried. The final product is the world's most expensive spice. Unichi Saffronia contains pure Saffron. It is among the highest quality Saffron in the world, harvested by hand in La Mancha, a rural region of Spain.*
Studies have revealed that Crocin, the unique compound in Saffron, can influence our sense of emotional wellbeing. Saffronia may help promote healthy mood balance and help to relieve symptoms of PMS. Saffron is traditionally used in Chinese herbal medicine for regulation of the menstrual cycle and in Iranian medicine to stimulate blood circulation.
Clinical studies have also shown Saffron to be effective at relieving premenstrual syndrome (PMS). Saffron extract (30mg per day) over 2 menstrual cycles significantly relieved PMS in a double blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial. PMS affects an estimated 20-40% of women at some point in their life.*
The recommended dose of Saffronia is 30mg per day.
